Description
The Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Revision Working Committee is to revise the Deployment of Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Industry Code (ACIF C564:2004). The topics included in the revision:
- consultation and notification with local communities and councils
- means of notification to stakeholders
- additional information such as technological changes, LAANs, permits, compensation, rights
- updates to existing information such as the ARPANSA EME Report Format and RF Warning Signs
- updating the Code to the Communications Alliance format and updating all references

Review
Communications Alliance sought comments for a scheduled review of the Deployment of Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Industry Code. Refer to the G564 Review Report. A Roundtable was held on 7 July 2010 to provide the opportunity for interested parties to review the received comments. The output of the Roundtable identified a list issues for inclusion in the Terms of Reference for the Code revision.

Publication
The Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code (C564:2011 ) has been published. This Code is to be submitted to the ACMA for registration and until this revised Code is registered, the Deployment of Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure Industry Code (C564:2004) remains as the registered Code with which industry must comply.
