G646:2012 National Broadband Network – Wholesale Service Definition Framework – Telephony Access Service
The Guideline provides:
(i) a framework for the definition of a Wholesale Telephony Access Service that may be available on the NBN and potentially by other Wholesale Telephony Access Service Providers; and
(ii) a description of the key capabilities to be specified in the Wholesale Telephony Access Service.
G648:2014 Calling Arrangements from Mobile Phones to 13/1300 Numbers
This guideline spells out commitments made by Australian mobile carriers to continue offering ’13-Friendly’ mobile plans, which include mobile calls to 13 and 1300 numbers as part of the included-value allowance of post-paid plans and charge for these calls at no more than the price of a standard national call. The guideline also provides for a transfer window to assist consumers to move to 13-Friendly plans, details a communications exercise and plans for industry research into any potential consumer detriment arising from the cost of mobile calls to 13 and 1300 numbers.
G649:2017 Cabling Existing Telecommunications Services in the Customer’s Premises for the nbn™
Provides guidance to Registered Cabling Providers when customers are migrating to the NBN for disconnecting their customer cabling from the lead-in cabling and connecting it to the NBN.
G651:2023 Customer Authorisation
The Customer Authorisation Industry Guideline (G651:2023) is designed to provide:common information to be provided to all telecommunications Customers before they agree to a Transfer; andinformation to be obtained from the customer or their Authorised Representative for the gaining Carriage Service Provider (CSP) to obtain a valid Customer Authorisation (CA).
G652:2016 NBN Migration Management Guideline
This guideline is designed to document the roles and responsibilities of each relevant party, that is, Telstra (as copper network owner, a major telecommunications service wholesaler and a Retail Service Provider (RSP)), legacy network owners other than Telstra, RSPs, nbn, Medical Alarm Service Providers (MASPs) and Application Service Providers (ASPs) within fixed network migration process.

G667:2021 Mobile Originated One Way Emergency Calls
The Guideline identifies scenarios where mobile devices are used to make an Emergency Call with a SIM intended for one way communications e.g. a data-only SIM for the Internet of Things (IoT).
It specifies what may or may not be possible for a call back by an Emergency Service Organisation (ESO) or a Welfare Check by a Carrier or CSP.
G669:2024 Transport of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Information Associated With Mobile Originated Emergency Calls
The Guideline is designed to enable the transfer of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) data, associated with Emergency Calls, from mobile devices and mobile networks to the Emergency Call Person e.g. IMEI, IMSI, CLI, location information and device type.
G670:2023 Fibre Ready MDUs for Real Estate Development Projects

The Guideline is designed to:

  • outline the minimum standard for Telecommunications spaces within a Real Estate Multi Tenanted building Development Project to be considered a Fibre Ready Facility;
  • describe recommended processes for the design and installation of Telecommunications facilities for use in the deployment of Optical Fibre Lines in a Real Estate Multi-Tenanted building Development Project; and
  • describe the recommended materials used in the design and installation of facilities.

G671:2023 G.fast Deployment on Customer Cabling

The Guideline is intended to provide:

  • A framework for managed sharing of customer cabling infrastructure within a premises or campus, while ensuring that all end users receive adequate G.fast data rates; and
  • A technical basis for determination of whether sharing is viable in cases where G.fast Systems from one Distribution Point Unit (DPU) share customer cabling infrastructure with G.fast Systems originating from another DPU.

G672:2023 Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Interconnection

The Guideline is designed to:

  • Assist a Carrier or Carriage Service Provider (CSP) seeking interconnection of services via Australian Telecommunications Networks;
  • Guide on what to expect when implementing interconnection; and
  • Help maintain the end-to-end integrity of Telecommunications Networks.
