Communications Alliance presents industry briefing by the ACCC following their discussion paper Broadband Internet Speed Claims and the Trade Practices Act 1974 issued in January 2007.

Copies of the paper can be downloaded from the ACCC website at: www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/779405/fromItemId/756870

The ACCC will address industry representatives to help them understand their obligations when advertising broadband services and how to take steps to remain compliant with the Trade Practices Act.

The briefing will conclude with a Question and Answer session facilitated by the ACCC.
