Vodafone Partners with Communications Alliance as Title Sponsor for 2016 ACOMM Awards

Vodafone leads a storied field of industry players as the Title Sponsor for the 2016 ACOMM Awards – the premier professional accolades for the Australian telecommunications industry.

The Communications Alliance & CommsDay ACOMM awards ceremony, to be held in Sydney at a gala dinner on 20 July, honours and recognises excellence across a wide range of telco industry endeavour.

A number of the telco sector’s most prestigious and innovative players are also on board as major sponsors of the 2016 ACOMMs, including Silver Sponsors: Optus and Cisco and Bronze Sponsors amaysim, Bird & Bird, Foxtel and KPMG.

Minister for Communications, Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield, will attend the Awards and deliver the keynote address.

Senator Fifield will be joined by more than 500 guests from service providers, equipment vendors, content providers, government, regulators and media for the 10th anniversary of the ACOMM awards.

Communications Alliance CEO, John Stanton, said the 2016 event promised to be the biggest ever, with a host of high quality award nominations from across the industry currently making life difficult for the judging panel.

“Our sponsor partnership with Vodafone and the support of all our valued sponsors is very welcome news – establishing a base from which to build this fantastic event even further,” Mr Stanton said.
