Information Acccessibility Administration Group

Description

The Information Accessibility Administration Group ensures the ongoing currency and effectiveness of ACIF G627:2005 Operational Matrices for Reporting on Accessibility Features for Telephone Equipment Industry Guideline (the Guideline), as provided for in ACIF C625:2005 Information Accessibility Features for Telephone Equipment Industry Code.  The Group:

(i) consists of equipment manufacturers and importers, and carriage service providers;
(ii) monitors implementation of the Guideline;
(iii) reviews complaints of non-compliance; and
(iv) monitors developments in the equipment industry to identify and recommend change to the Guideline, as appropriate.
