Information Acccessibility Administration Group (IAAG)

Description

The Information Accessibility Administration Group ensures the ongoing currency and effectiveness of Operational Matrices for Reporting on Accessibility Features for Telephone Equipment Industry Guideline (ACIF G627:2005) (the Guideline), as provided for in ACIF C625:2005 Information Accessibility Features for Telephone Equipment Industry Code.  The Group:

  1. consists of equipment manufacturers and importers, and carriage service providers;
  2. monitors implementation of the Guideline;
  3. reviews complaints of non-compliance; and
  4. monitors developments in the equipment industry to identify and recommend change to the Guideline, as appropriate.
